The larger body size of the dreadnought produces a deep bass accompanied by powerful mids and bell-like highs. The 14th fret neck-to-body join creates easier access to the higher frets when soloing, and its immense volume and power has made it a staple in bluegrass style flatpicking as well as in country and folk,

With its 16" lower bout, this is currently the largest guitar McClellan Guitars builds. From strumming on the porch to taking solos on stage, the slope shoulder dreadnought can just about do it all- it really is a warm and resonant workhorse.
